Lori's Story

Choosing to have to have cosmetic surgery is a personal and important decision. Lorraine or Lori, as her friends call her has been contemplating breast enhancement for a number of years. She was large breasted prior to pregnancy and while pregnant her breast cup size expanded further. After childbirth her breasts were, as she refers to them, "flapjacks!"

Her two sons are now ages 12 and 5 and Lori, an admissions counselor at a local nursing school, with her husband's support decided it was time to do something for her! After making the decision to pursue breast surgery Lori visited a handful of board certified plastic surgeons. She chose Dr. Pinsky because of his excellent credentials and because he was so "warm and friendly and so real." She describes the staff as "to die for." The best of all the offices she visited. "they were both friendly and professional." She was amazed at the comprehensive instruction and preoperative booklet that was a resource to her before and after the surgery. "It answered so many of my questions and concerns." The staff assisted Lori with payment options that made her dream a reality.

She explained that once surgery was scheduled she had a few tearful moments of feeling selfish about pursuing her surgery. Lori told us the anticipation of her surgery nearly, "took me out." She described herself on her surgery day as feeling "giddy with delight and scared out of my wits!" She remembers fondly the way Dr. Pinsky comforted her as she was waiting to go to the operating room. Lori is positive she made the right choice in both the procedures and selecting her surgeon.

Several months after surgery, Lori commented that she is wearing clothing she has wanted to wear for years. Now she enjoys purchasing lingerie. Purchasing her first bathing suit was a monumental event. Lori described how she went back and forth to quite a few stores trying and re-trying on suits to make sure she got the one she wanted. She loves her new look!

Lori commented that she feels "beautiful." A feeling she has not experienced since having children had taken a toll on her breasts. She enjoys the admiring looks she receives and commented how lucky she is that her husband has been so encouraging.
