What Does the FaceTite™ and AccuTite™ Treatment Entail?

FaceTite™ and AccuTite™ are minimally-invasive procedures typically performed under either local anesthesia or light sedation. Treatment generally takes about an hour, although this estimate can vary based on the unique circumstances of each patient. 

Using small, discreet incisions, the internal part of the specialized FaceTite™ or AccuTite™ wand is used to apply targeted radiofrequency (RF) energy below the skin surface. The RF energy liquefies excess fat, tightens tissues, and stimulates collagen production for long-term skin improvements. The liquefied fat may be gently suctioned away using a small cannula—a thin, hollow tube. The external part of the wand simultaneously administers RF energy to the surface of the skin for enhanced toning and tightening results. Throughout the treatment process, the FaceTite™ device tracks skin temperature in real-time, optimizing patient safety and comfort.  

What Can I Expect During FaceTite™ or AccuTite™ Recovery?

Recovery after FaceTite™ or AccuTite™ is usually relatively quick in comparison to more invasive procedures, such as a surgical facelift or neck lift. Our plastic surgeons carefully plan out incision placements so as to optimize post-operative healing and minimize the risk of visible scarring. There may be some mild to moderate swelling and bruising immediately after the procedure, but any discomfort is typically manageable with adequate rest and pain medication. Patients can often resume regular, non-strenuous activity within a few days to weeks after treatment. That said, your plastic surgeon will give you more personalized and detailed aftercare instructions following your consultation, which you should adhere to carefully to ensure the most efficient recovery possible.
