Before you go through any procedures, it its very important to know the person who wields the knife. Remember that you have a lot at stake here so you need to be extra careful when it comes to choosing your cosmetic surgeon. To get to know your surgeon better, pay close attention to the following things during your first visit to his or her office:
- Cleanliness. A good doctor is obsessed with cleanliness so if a prospective doctor does not have an immaculately clean place; forget about letting that person cut into your body.
- Before and after photos displayed inside the office or clinic. The before and after photos of former clients tell a lot about the skills of the doctor. If you do not see considerable improvements in the photos taken after procedure, you better start looking for another cosmetic surgeon.
- The doctor’s behavior. A good doctor gives his or her client his or her full attention. If the doctor is too busy doing something while talking to you, beware. A doctor who does not pay attention to his or her patients can be dangerous.
- The doctor’s fees. A good doctor commands a good price so if a doctor charges 20% lower than the average doctor’s fees, something fishy may be going on. If you don’t want to be in trouble, stay away from cheap cosmetic procedures!
